Canada Resume
A Canadian resume is usually works much like an American resume. For you to get the attention of the reader, your must actively sell yourself by using active verbs, rather than passive. Likewise, these active verbs must show your accomplishments and the range of experience. This helps you get the interview. In terms of the format for the content, it is best to use the reverse-chronological format.
Start with your name and contact details at the topmost page of your resume. It should contain telephone numbers, address, and email address. For the work history, list your position, company name, and dates, as well as your important functions in the job. Remember, when you discuss your functions, use active verbs. Next, discuss your education by listing your course, school, and inclusive dates. Present a brief account of what you did in school and academic awards. Finally, close your resume with some personal information and reference that says “available upon request.” Take note that they do not discriminate against religion, race, or status so you need not exclude such information.
Resumes in Canada contain cover letter that should be as enticing as the whole content of your resume. Also, some Canadian employers require application online. If this is the case, you have to refrain from using fancy formatting in order to preserve the content of your resume.
