While writing insurance resume you should follow the following format and describe the best you have in you in as few words as you possible.

A long resume with unnecessary detail will do you no good. It should be reasonable for its purpose so the reader reads it in few minutes and gets the best possible idea about you and your abilities.

Career Objective :

This should describe what sort of job you are looking for. You should describe your objectives clearly in the career objective.

Professional Experience :

Any experience you posses in the relevant field. This will give employers the idea, what expertise you possess and how they can get benefit from these. Carefully mentioning your experience will brighten your chance of getting the job.

Qualifications :

This head should mention all of your degrees and qualification. Put in the name of university you have acquired your education from and the name of the degree completed. The year of completion should be mentioned as well.

Achievement :

List down the achievements you have made during your previous work. Any awards won will make your resume striking to the reader.

Certifications :

List all you extra abilities and courses or short courses you have done other than your education.

Hobbies :

List down your hobbies and what you like to do in spare time.

Reference :

This should be provided on request.
