Many medical directors assess applicants based on how the medical resume is written, therefore, it should be written professionally. Like all the other professional jobs, the field of medicine relies on experience more than on education.
The first section of your resume must be dedicated to the summary of your career. This presents your prominent attainments in the field, present job or activity, and most notable characteristics. The next section should elaborate your experience in the field. It is best to discuss your work experience first. This must include your position in the hospital, what you basically do, and contributions to the hospital. You may discuss next your outside the job experiences, such as medical missions. Include a summary of what you did, your functions, your patients, and achievements. You may also dedicate a section to your experience in running or working in a clinic and having medical affiliations.
Next, discuss your licensure and board certification details. It also includes your license, certifications, and other legal proof that you are a qualified doctor. Finally, discuss your education background. List the course, majors, schools, and dates. You need not elaborate on your school activities because your medical practice is more considered.
