Personal Resumes

Whereas job resumes are prepared for purposes of applying for job openings, personal resumes are detailed accounts of individual’s accomplishments, and are prepared for varied reasons, other than being presented to potential employers only.

Standard personal resumes may exceed five pages in length as they are supposed to capture everything, from educational background, career history, experiences, positions held and duties performed in an individual’s career path, plus future expectations.

Though not a standard rule, personal resumes are found within the ranks of individuals who have achieved major accomplishments during the course of their careers.

Such individuals include Professors, Doctors, Engineers, and Senior Consultants. All publications, books, technical reports and other papers published by the individuals must be included in the personal resumes.

However, this should not intimidate you if you are just a regular jobseeker. You can also get a killer resume using the information provided on this site.
