Fresher Resume

A fresher resume format is widely used by fresh graduate students who do no have a work background. Despite the limited experience of fresh graduates in the field that they are applying for, employers have a way to hire competent workers. It is therefore essential to know what their criteria are.

The major section in a fresher resume is the educational background. Employers sort through their applicants’ resumes by reviewing academic achievements. Everybody prefers intelligent students so listing all your achievements while in school is the best strategy. List all your core competencies. Arrange them by subject and elaborate each in bullets. Awards and achievements also make a good impression to the employers.

Since you do not have enough experience, they assess your flexibility instead. This can be seen in the extra-curricular activities you participated in. If you hold key positions and responsibilities in your university organization, you should highlight this. They want to hire people who are able to accomplish things, even at school. The last part includes personal information and references. Ask your professors to be your personal references. This way, you become more credible to the employers.
