Schools Resume
A schools resume format is mainly used by a student who is applying for a school transfer or who is applying to get in another college. The format delves on the academic achievements of the student, with little regard on the employment experience, if there is any. Applying for a school in the United States or England places a tight competition among the applicants because these schools are competitive as well.
Usually, directors look for versatile students who can excel in academics and participate in school activities at the same time. Therefore, it is important to present in your resume in a way that will impress your interviewer. First, start your resume with a summary of your profile, listing your attainments in your schools and most striking characteristics. This is followed by a summary of your education, with a brief account of your achievements.
Next, elaborate on your core competencies. Make separate sub-sections for each competency and list all your skills relating to each field. Tackle your academic awards in the next section in order to support all your claims about yourself. Discuss your extra-curricular activities or the list of organizations joined. Your ability to cope with the rest of the schools is presented in this part. Last, include a listing of your internship if you have any. End your resume with personal information and reference persons.
