UK Resume
In the United Kingdom, many employers require their applicants to submit resumes, sometimes called CV or curriculum vitae, online. For this reason, a UK resume format must look as simple as an email resume format. This allows you to preserve the contents of your resume.
Start your resume with a heading that contains your name, address, and contact details. State your career objective briefly after this. The next section should reflect a summary of your career or profile. This discusses your overall progress in the field, current position, and most notable attainment. The next section must elaborate your work experience. Start by listing your job title, company name, and dates. Add a concise list of your functions and achievements in each position. Then discuss your education history. List your course, school name, and dated of entry. Clearly account for your majors or minors, honors received, and achievements by listing them in bullets. Add a section for your special interests and other activities that you perform.
End your resume with references or reference persons with a note: “available upon request.” Take note that a UK resume must include a cover letter that contains the name of the person to whom the resume is addressed to.
